Business Essentials: 10 Session Course (Pukekohe)

Engine Room's Business Essentials Course is back! We have run this course with amazing success in the past and so we are bringing it back in 2015. This course will benefit business owners looking to take charge of their financials, just in time for the new financial year.

Course attendee numbers are limited and the course is very interactive; participants can engage and connect with their coach and group members while looking at the theory and practical, real world applications. 

10 Steps to understanding the numbers in your business. Business Essentials is designed for owner operators, with revenue of $500k - $3 million, who are looking to grow their business and need to improve their knowledge and understanding of financial management.

  Philippa, a qualified Chartered Accountant in both NZ and the UK, spent 12 years with KPMG in London where she specialised in mergers and acquisitions, writing the manual and training the KPMG team on the topic.  This experience firmly established Philippa’s passion for training and up-skilling business owners; before leaving the UK she also created and presented a mini MBA programme for her then employer, O'Byrne & Kennedy. 

With her strategic mind and extensive experience in accounting and small business consulting, Philippa is a sought after presenter. Her coaching experience and great communication skills also make her an excellent trainer for business owner operators adjusting to understanding their business finances.

Margaret Holmes


 
   
 

Margaret is a highly-qualified Chartered Accountant and Business Coach. She has over 25 years’ experience in both corporate accounting and public practice, holds her Certificate of Public Practice, is a member of the Institute of Directors and is the Treasurer for the Tauranga Chamber of Commerce Board. Over the years she has developed a specialisation in strategic planning, particularly for  small-medium sized businesses. Most of all she enjoys helping business owners understand the financial performance of their businesses and challenging their thinking to help them grow.

With a passion for information technology (her inner geek), Margaret likes to explore new technology options and drive growth and development of businesses through introducing technology solutions.
