Whoever it was that said accountants lacked personality, well, they had certainly never met Margaret.

From her sharp dressing to her vibrant Engine-Room-red car and great sense of humour, Margaret stands out from the crowd. She’s an experienced accountant and business owner who is as passionate about her clients’ businesses.

Margaret is a highly-qualified chartered accountant. She has over 25 years’ experience in both corporate accounting and public practice, holds her Certificate of Public Practice and is a member of the Institute of Directors. Over the years she has developed a specialisation in strategic planning, particularly for small-medium sized businesses. Most of all she enjoys helping business owners understand the financial performance of their businesses and challenging their thinking to help them grow.

With a passion for information technology (her inner geek), Margaret likes to explore new technology options and drives the development of technology for both the Engine Room and clients

She is also active in her local community, chairing the Pukekohe Business Association from a small interest group with 20 members to a fully funded Business Improvement District with over 300 member. In 2012 she was recognised as a Kiwibank Local Hero, a Franklin Community Volunteer Award and runner up in the Franklin Finest Leadership/Mentor category.
